Well equipped rooms, complete with kettle, mini fridge and safe. Lovely views over the enclosed garden. It is a beautiful relaxing place to stay and close to all the Cannobio has to offer.

It's an expensive B&B, not a hotel .. and over-priced for what you get. Very clean rooms, but plain with zero atmosphere, and ours had almost no natural light. Staff all gone at 8.15pm and hard to find at check-out. They want you to pay when you arrive. No facilities. Does have private parking included, but breakfast not included (wanted eur 7.5 per person extra). At EUR 134 for a double in October, they are pushing it, which may be why there were few guests. Good location though .. you can walk to the lake front in a couple of minutes. Not really bad but would not go back.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and it was excellent and we will be back soon for sure. This 3-star hotel, which is 6 km from the Italy-Switzerland border, was completely renovated in 2020. Super well located, central and quiet. The room we stayed in had modern and new decor, comfortable bed, a big balcony, all super clean, spacious bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and in the right measure served in the garden. The service provided by the 2 young managers was excellent. Alice and Alessia are super friendly, always with a smile on their face and very helpful. I thank you both for your excellent stay at the Hotel Elvezia and we are looking forward to returning and enjoying this beautiful region soon.

Two charming young sisters are at the head of this beautiful hotel in a great location in Cannobio. The photos on Trip advisor are no longer relevant because the hotel has just been renovated. The rooms are very contemporary and the decor is very clean and beautiful.||Located a stone's throw from the restaurants that border Lake Maggiore, this hotel, which has a car park, is truly a safe bet.

The staff was very helpful in locating a wonderful restaurant and other points of interest in town. Quiet, clean room. Easy to walk to lake and town. Lovely back patio, but hard to enjoy as much in late October. Some on-site parking. WI-FI and computer available in lobby. Hiking nearby.

Very good food and good service, we first used this restaurant 5 years ago and keep coming back, some of us had fish which came with vegetables and potatoes and was perfectly cooked. Pizzas are fully loaded thin crust and very tasty, had trouble communicating because we don't speak Italian but one of the waitresses came to the rescue. Not on the lakeside but worth the walk.

What a nice place to stay. Two very friendly sisters, who will make you feel welcome. Beautiful renovated rooms with a view and a lovely garden. Near the boulevard end everything you need in Cannobio.
