L’Ea Bianca positions itself as a luxury resort, but after spending time here, I’d say it lands closer to “okay” than “luxury.” Worth it if you value great service, don’t mind renting a car, and don't expect good food from the hotel itself.

Unless you plan on staying strictly within the resort, renting a car is absolutely mandatory. Without one, you’ll feel stranded—there’s nothing within walking distance, and taxis aren’t a practical solution for every outing as they must drive a long way to pick you up so they might refuse rides even after agreeing on extra fees. (happened when going out on the second day, we got half-stranded at a restaurant near by).

The staff is hands-down the highlight of the resort. Both the waiting staff and cleaning team are exceptional—warm, attentive, and professional. The restaurant servers, in particular, perform almost at a Michelin-star level in terms of service. Unfortunately, the kitchen doesn’t match their efforts: the food itself is disappointing at best. the restaurant is the weakest link without a doubt, with dishes that fall far below the expectations set by the service. Breakfast is also underwhelming, offering a surprisingly modest buffet for a property branding itself as “luxury.”
Oddly enough, the pool bar manages to deliver far better meals than the main restaurant. (maybe because it's paid ?)

The beach was a ok. It’s rocky rather than fine sand, and the shallow area for swimming is minimal—particularly inconvenient if you have children. The “gym” is more of an afterthought: a tiny room with one treadmill and one bike that look 20 years old, plus some exhibition clutter. Clearly, fitness amenities are not a priority here.

Rooms are decent. Beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works well (though it’s noisy), and the jacuzzi tubs show noticeable signs of age. Overall, the rooms are fine but nothing remarkable for a property in this price range.

L’Ea Bianca is not without charm—attention to detail from the director is noticeable, and the staff elevate the experience tremendously. But calling this a “luxury” resort is misleading. The weak dining, underwhelming beach, and outdated facilities put it firmly in the “nice, but not luxury” category.

We attended a wedding in Sardinia and decided last minute to tag on 3 extra days. |I’m always nervous when I see a hotel describe itself as Luxury……|However, if I was them I would be adding other adjectives! Luxury certainly. Stunning views. Wonderful pool and garden areas. Private beach access. Superb team effort that works better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at (and I’ve stayed at plenty of very well known luxury hotels). |Special mention must be reserved for the restaurant. This was consistently superb cooking. I wide range of a la carte as well as chefs choice. Everything was cooked and presented superbly. |I’ve often heard of people who return to the same hotel year on year and wonder why. This is a hotel (plus the island of Sardinia) where I might become one of those people. |Everything about it was perfect for us. |Seriously impressed and cannot recommend enough.

A lovely luxury hotel. Modern spacious rooms with good sized bathroom and great views from the balcony. The food was excellent for breakfast and evening meal. The staff were friendly and very professional. Great tips on where to visit from our waitress. Thoroughly recommend this hotel, I’m sure we will visit again.

This is our second visit to Sardinia. This time we stayed in this hotel.|It should be noted that Sardinia has its own specific rules and conditions in hotels. Almost everywhere they are the same.|Тhe hotel itself is very green. service at a high level. Both the reception and room service responded promptly to all our requests. I especially want to mention Gianni, the reservations manager. Unfortunately, I don’t know and remember the names of all the employees, but everyone did their job wonderfully!|Now about the hotel itself - the breakfast is sufficient, but not quite like in a 5-star hotel. What surprised me - the entrance to the spa area is paid. In other words, if not the sea, then there is nothing else to do in the hotel. No sports entertainment. You are unlikely to see all this in a 5-star hotel on the mainland. But I repeat - this is a common standard in hotels in Sardinia.|Now about the sea - the sea is pleasant, the lagoon, the water and the beach are clean. Sea entrance is fine. Not too much stones. What I liked is that there are no strangers from the street. Only hotel guests. Perhaps we were not at the peak of the season. I can not say. However, the sand on the shore is not snow-white, like on the Costa Smeralda coast. There is no bar or cafe on the shore.|Otherwise, and in general, I liked the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent. All the main places are not far away. Of course, provided that you have a car.

Physically this hotel is lovely. The view and the pool setup is gorgeous! The restaurant is, at best mediocre. A young woman from Slovakia waited on us and she was lovely. Smiling and happy!|Our suite was nice, great view comfortable seating. Room service breakfast is good and served soooo quickly!|Now for the reason it only got 3 stars… this could be mistaken for a funeral home. When we arrived the manat the front desk, Andrea dis not greet us pleasantly at all. He had an unhappy look and never once looked at us as we entered or left with a smile and a greeting. He is an unpleasant person who has the wrong job! Should be back of the house. |Also avoid the spa! They don’t have a proper massage table and my husbands back hurt more after the massage than before!|Bartender was pleasant!

We cannot praise the staff enough for making our stay amazing. We travelled with our 9 month baby for the first time and didn’t realise the hotel was not baby friendly. This did not stop us having the best holiday and this simply because of the hotel manager Paola. She upgraded our room to one with a garden so our baby boy can enjoy it. Made sure we had a bath tub to bath our baby and even allowed us access to the spa. The reception staff were so helpful in advising the best beaches to visit- Giani and another lovely gentleman whose name I can’t remember. The restaurant staff were just FAB. They made breakfast and dinner for my baby boy and never made us feel bad for the food mess he made on the floor everyday meal time. The hotel is beautiful but it was the staff for us who made our stay perfect. Thank you all xx

We had a magical stay at L’ea Bianca. The rooms, grounds, and facilities are beautiful. Each room has a balcony and sea view. The pool is lovely and there are ample places to get sun in a chez, in the outdoor couch area, or in one of the many lounge chairs throughout the lawn. To me, however, it was the staff who truly made the experience so magical.||At every turn, each staff member is delighted to greet you and help in whatever way they can. A heartfelt smile and “bongiorno!” or “Bona sera!” go a long way towards making a guest feel welcomed and attended to - and each and every staff member succeeded in this. ||Giovanni and Zuzana (and colleagues) were always so friendly in the morning when they would ask for our coffee orders and generally take care of us during breakfast. Lido the lifeguard, while providing wonderful service (and good banter) by the pool, also provided great local beach recommendations when we decided to go off campus for a day of sun (to be clear, the pool is wonderful with ample lounge chairs and lots of sun!). Luca took wonderful care of us anytime we ordered drinks or snacks at the bar and always so thoughtfully asked how our day was going. Giovanni at the front desk so kindly offered to call a number of restaurants (that he helped recommend - all of which were wonderful and none of which were tourist traps) to make reservations as we were on data-only plans. And Cristina helped to recommend the best day (don’t forget to check the weather!) and way to sail about the Maddalena archipelago - which ended up being the most magical day of our trip. ||Of note : Yes, I am a friendly person. But to be on a first-name basis with 6 different members of the hotel staff after only a few days is a testament to the personal care and attention that we received from the staff during our stay. ||Each room has a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the sea beyond. When not at the pool, beach, beach restaurant, lounge sun couches, or beautiful bar, we enjoyed having a beverage and reading a book and enjoying the lovely view. It felt like each time we returned to our room, the staff had thoughtfully made it up - beds made, towels changed, or perhaps a fresh new bottle of water by the bedside. And, they somehow did this without ever interrupting us. ||We are so grateful to L’ea Bianca and their staff for making our week in Costa Smeralda so wonderful. We will be back!

Our stay here was excellent. The property is very beautiful and wonderfully maintained. Very spacious room and bathroom and balcony. Service is excellent. In the evening, my husband and I enjoyed playing cards on the comfortable couches on the patio, soaking in the beautiful views and having drinks and snacks. We were recommended a lovely sailboat tour and excellent hike. Highly recommend!
